Research business

Commissioned by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Japan Patent Office, etc., the IIP conducts research and study business concerning intellectual property systems and their operations, invitation of overseas researchers, business for dispatching Japanese researchers to overseas research institutes, and collaborative research business with Chinese government-affiliated organizations and intellectuals of universities.
In addition, the IIP has concluded agreements on research exchange with major overseas intellectual property research institutes.
